What does an optional breakfast mean, what is Scandic doing?

Breakfast will still be available for all of our guests, but we are now offering you more flexibility to tailor your stay according to your breakfast preferences. Now you can choose to add our standard breakfast buffet, a sandwich on the go, or no breakfast at all. This choice can be made before arrival, or at the hotel. Today we have guests who pay for breakfast, even if they do not want or need it.
